DevOps Journey Tracker is operated by devopsjourney, which acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

- Learning data — roadmap progress, quiz and interview answers, notes, projects and reviews you create.
- Support messages — anything you send us when asking for help.
- Usage & device data — pages visited, feature usage, IP address, browser and device identifiers.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
- To create and maintain your account and provide the service (performance of a contract).
- To keep the service secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interests).
- To improve the product and understand how features are used (legitimate interests).
- To provide customer support (performance of a contract / legitimate interests).
- Where required, to meet legal obligations (legal obligation).
Payment-related data is collected by Paddle as Merchant of Record and is governed by Paddle's own privacy terms.
4. Who we share data with
- Service providers and subprocessors that host, analyze and support the service (cloud hosting, analytics, email delivery).
- Our Merchant of Record, Paddle, for the sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
- Authorities where required by law.
5. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed, except where law requires longer retention.
